This city is built right beneath the Lake of Unn. Groundwater seeping through that is then funneled back into the lake causes it to rain all year. It is Eos' most affordable living space and a popular attraction for tourists due to its marvelous architecture and unique climate. The citizens living down here have a vibrant culture and a strong sense of community. Most of the families here work for the industries providing clean water and energy for the rest of Eos.
Byzel has an elaborate sewage system where the water is freed of all waste and led back into the rivers and water supplies of Eos. It stretches beneath the entire city.
Further down, beneath the City of Tears, even beneath the furthest reaches of the Sewers lie the Catacombs. This place was created in search for valuable minerals to mine. However, it was soon found that the plants that give light to the rest of Byzel fail to grow here.
