Raised in nobility, Baal has always been the black sheep of House Alder. He was a wild-natured boy, fierce and a born leader. He was raised with high expectations. His mind molded into that of a ruler from the day he was born. Baal had an innate understanding of tactical reasoning, instinctual to the point of being prodigal. The boy earned his right to the seat of the Patriarch by the time he was thirteen. His succession was guaranteed. His only choice now was to wait for his father to step down.

Baal was a patient boy. His desire for leadership, though strong, was never more than his love and loyalty to his father and his house. His people were his pride and his pride was unfaltering. His determination to rule and protect his people was backed greatly by his intense training and magical prowess. His mutation affected his senses, mimicking the instinctual predatory nature of a wolf. In addition to his mutation, Baal also manifested theurgy magic. Baal wild nature reflected his magical capabilities and from that he thrived.

His theurgy magic is unique in that he has contracted with enchanted weapons. His physical capabilities and harsh training have made him a master of almost every type of weapon. His contracted weapons typically have a mind of their own and are bound to him and loyal to him only.

He was a destined leader. His father, an otherwise healthy man, died after a wound to the gut while challenging in a fight to the death. He managed to first kill his opponent, but was struck from behind before the challenger took his last breath. Baal was next in line and gratefully took his position as Patriarch at the age of twenty-four after his father's death. Said to be the youngest Patriarch in the history of House Alder, Baal has also been considered its finest ruler.

Baal has successfully ruled over House Alder for over a decade. He is a man who rules with an iron thumb. He is fierce and decisive and there are many who fear him. He is ruthless and will do whatever it takes to make sure House Alder thrives at the peek of nobility. Some disapprove of his mannerisms and his overall feral appearance. Baal is not one to care. He thrives with cut throat tactics and will, with no regret, completely demolish any obstacle in his path.
