Words couldn't describe how Aster felt when Avalon showed off such determination and adoration for the Arbiter. The expression of her face, how passionate she was, her undeniable loyalty. It was the second time Aster broke her usual relaxed character with slightly widen eyes. It almost seemed unhealthy if she had to be honest, but why would she ever point that out? She even thought the Warden would actually go against Aster from what she could tell with her relationship with justice. It would've been interesting to see where things could go from there, but Aster definitely wouldn't complain on what's going on now.

She watched the Warden lift herself up up on the table, still flabbergasted with what was just said. Without having enough time to utter even a single sound, she felt her hands taken into Avalon's own. She felt the material of the gloves breaking down, actually making skin contact with her hands. All Aster could do was just stare in awe at the Warden with the amount of devotion shown. Aster tried to speak up, but she couldn't find the right words, or even word, to express what was going through her mind.

Aster looked at the Warden for a few more seconds in silence before she finally managed to speak up. "Avalon..." She drifted off again into silence. Her somewhat shocked expression slowly warmed into satisfaction. Her eyes softened into a relaxed state while her lips were tugged into a grin. Her grin wasn't just a signature one given when it came to reassuring peace and hospitality or maintaining her motherly image. This grin was baleful. Knowing how much Avalon was willing to risk anything for Aster, she knew exactly what to do with the young woman before her.

The grip of her hands on Avalon's own tightened. Aster tugged them towards herself, leaning in closer to the Warden. "If you're that willing to risk anything for me, who am I to not do the same for you?" She sweetly whispered, her grin slowly growing larger. "As long as you're by my side no matter what the odds are, I will forever stay in your debt and grateful for your loyalty."

She took a moment to release and slip her hands out of Avalon's, this time letting her hands drift themselves up on her arms, onto her shoulders, up her neck, and finally cupping cupping her face in between her hands. "At this point, I think I might be developing some admiration for you myself." She chuckled. "If there is but one person I wish to rule with, I would be a damn fool to pick anyone else but you."
