[attr="class","opmindblurb1fac"]The Sorcerer's League is Eos' oldest competitive magic institution. A multi-faceted organization that hosts Eos' favorite sport: magic combat. There are multiple leagues for multiple disciplines, such as single, tag team and group combat, every school of magic represented in every combination as well as alone, some allowing only one or several schools in their leagues, multiple magic games and obstacle courses and even simple tests of individual control, skill and showmanship. Every discipline is sub-divided into three leagues. Apprentice, Adept and Master, with every league increasing in its competitors skill.[break][break]

The most popular league and most public spectacle that occupies the Collosseum all year 'round with its preparations is the 'League of Legends', where mages from any degree of skill are allowed to sign up and attempt qualification. The mages that ultimately qualify, usually mages from combat-focused master-class leagues, are then pitted in one on one duels for the title of Sorcerer's League Champion. This bi-annual event is a spectacle for all of Eos and captivates millions of citizens for the fight to the victor.[break][break]

The mages signed into the league usually sign temporary deals with the league to get varying degrees of compensation depending on their performance and talent in their leagues. Those that manage to qualify for the League of Legends are usually high-grossing professionals that attract hundreds of thousands of viewers in their own leagues and can live in a fair bit of wealth thanks to their ability and performance in the league.

League Mages Mages working as athletes in the Sorcerer's League. This body of participants holds mages across every spectrum of skill, talent, dedication and ability. Some might be individual title holders, such as "Master of Arcanism", some might be just starting out. Some might need to work a day job to make a living, some might not.
