[attr="class","opmindblurb1"]3.01 Quests are the main source of income for characters on this site. Characters do quests to earn gold (G) and other rewards. They involve rping to achieve a certain goal, which, once achieved, enables the character to apply the completed thread and earn the rewards given in the original Quest post. All of these Quests and their respective posts can be found in the Quest Board.[break][break]
3.02 While some Quests will be provided by staff, members are encouraged to create their own quests and apply them in the Quest Creation Section. Members are free to make any series of events they wish to happen to their character into a quest to earn more gold, but rewards will always be decided by staff.[break][break]
3.03 Quests will always have requirements that characters must fulfill to take them. These requirements may range from a character being of a certain rank, being in a certain faction, requiring a certain number of characters or requiring certain abilities. Quests that are more dangerous and have higher requirements will usually net more gold.[break][break]
3.04 All approved quests that can be taken on by characters can be found in the Approved Quests Section. Here, quests provided by both staff and members can be found and applied for. Approved Quests can simply be started by any number of participating characters as long they meet the requirements.[break][break]
3.05 To complete a quest, you must fulfill the detailed requirements. Not fulfilling a quest is extremely unlikely, but if staff finds that you haven't written a story that reflects the requirements, your reward may be denied until you have repeated the quest or edited the existing thread. While NOT succeeding a quest will be extremely difficult, please remember to write a coherent story and fulfill the requirements of the quest with your character's actions.[break][break]
3.06 Upon completing your quest thread, simply reply in the quest thread in the Approved Quests board with the @accountnames of all participants. A staff member will then take a look at the thread and reply with approval, giving each participating member their reward.[break][break]
3.07 Quests are furthermore divided into three basic types. Each quest type has a small set of guidelines only applying to that type of quest. These guidelines concern additional rewards, availability and repeatability of a Quest. The types are as follows:[break][break]
3.08 Legendary Quests have their own sub-board in the Legendary Quests Section, as they will function as setpieces for events and can only be taken by certain characters.

Common - These quests will be repeatable by any characters as long the requirements are met. They give may give small additional rewards, but usually only give gold.[break]
Unique - Different from Common Quests, Unique Quests will offer more story and adventure when compared to Common Quests. They will usually have stricter requirements and always offer unique rewards, such as items, or spells. They can only be taken by one group of characters at a time.[break]
Legendary - Legendary Quests are Quests that are relevant to the universe as a whole. They will function as prologues to big events and deeply impact the world. They can only ever be finished by a single group of mages.
