[attr="class","nodenscontainer"] [attr="class","nodensheader"]MAGIC BACKGROUND [attr="class","nodensmagleft"] [attr="class","nodensmagleft2"] Samsara magic is a mystical magic that uses the power of life and death in a cyclical type of way, the magic appears like a blue tinted light. The two magic together create rebirth and as a whole it is referred to as Samsara. When Sam was first able to use magic he could only use the life part of his magic as he did not understand it. When he went for revenge against the very creature that tore his life a part he activated the death half of it. It took a lot of practice for Sam to be able to use this magic as life and death were conflicting magics that constantly tried to outdo each other. When meditating keeping himself in a contemplative state he finally understood both halves of his magic and discovered rebirth. The uses of Sam’s power often confuses those that does not understand him, as the way he uses his power looks like different magics.[break][break] The Life part of Sam’s Samsara only supports. It grants life to plants, people, animals, and travels to the very heart of all that considered good. He can use it for healing, buffing, and enchantments that are considered good. This magic lacks a lot of offensive capability as Sam discovered when he first tried to use it. This magic subset awakened when he was happy to be alive and discovered a new lease on life. [break][break] The death part is considered dark to a lot of people. This part of Sam’s magic is used for destruction of all and is used to grant death. From the disintegration of things, to various status curses that can inflict a myriad of ways to suffer. This magic is dangerous to all and not just enemies. As effects from this magic type also never discriminate. This part of his power was awakened when he was on the verge of death. It gave him the power necessary to defeat the behemoth.[break][break] The last part of his magic is Rebirth it is both life and death parts of his magic mixed together. This is the hardest part for Samuel to use but it is what gave him the Master of Mysticism title. Rebirth spells and Samsara magic when balanced is pure spiritual magic that has the widest range of abilities. [attr="class","nodensheader"]MAGIC ABILITIES [attr="class","nodensmagleft"] [attr="class","nodensmagleft2"] Force of Life: It makes him immune to things like colds and sickness, he also ages slower compared to a normal person. This only applies to normal and naturally occuring stuff. While resistant to these type of dangers he will still suffer when they are backed by magic, so he will succumb to them if he cannot/does not use his own magic. This is granted by the life portion of his magic. This ability is more prevalent when he is calm and experiencing happy emotions. Plants bloom and nature comes back to life wherever he steps. This lowers the offensive capabilities of all spells with a - in the name.[break] Force of Death: Unlike force of life this power only becomes active when Sam is experiencing negative feelings. It boosts battle powers and the effects of his death type spells. When force of death is active force of life stops working. Stuff starts to decay and even plants wither when this going. This force is why Sam tries to stay calm and be neutral at the most. When activated he enters a berserker state and becomes unable to use any spells with the + in the name.[break] Spirit Rebirth: Neutral to both forces and is a mixture of both. Spirit rebirth allows Sam to use the spirit of things that he has killed in the past. As if remnants of the etherious that was bound to the body is called an restitched together. Without a spell Sam can make and command seven different colored spirit balls that look like little flames. They have no battle capabilities but can be used as walkie-talkies or long range telephones, by appearing were Sam wields it. The spirits do excellent work as servants with a variety of cleaning and organizing. When used in spell form he recalls opponents he has defeated in the past to do his bidding. | [attr="class","nodenscontainer"] [attr="class","nodensright"] [attr="class","nodensheader"]HEX : First Heal + [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 1 post[break] Cooldown: 2 posts[break][break] This is Samuels most basic healing spell. It appears as up to three points of light three meters long. They are fired at whatever Samuel wishes to impale the target. When the target is impaled they are healed instead of being damaged. The healing level is basic and does cuts, bruises, and light burns. The spell covers a moderate amount of blood loss, recovering some fatigue. Critical wounds such as loss of limbs or damaged nerves and internal organs cannot be healed, but wounds can be closed. This spell cannot heal cells that are fatally damaged, such as by burning, resulting in permanent scarring. It can be used to restore vitality to small flowers, and people will feel like they had an hour nap. [attr="class","nodensheader"]HEX : Limit Break Form 1 [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 2 [break] Cooldown: 2 [break][break] Samuel pumps his magic into his very body, releasing some of the hidden potential in the human body, drastically increasing his constitution. As long as the spell is active his speed strength is boosted, to where he can physically fight on par with a Kavus type Ferox. [attr="class","nodensheader"]HEX : Elderly Hex - [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 2[break] Cooldown: 2 [break][break] Sam uses his etherious to rapidly age the magic within someone else. This causes all spells cast when this magic is in effect to have an increased cooldown. When force of life is active the cooldown is increased by one, when force of death is active the cooldown is increased by two. [attr="class","nodensheader"]HEX : Spirit Sight [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 1 [break] Cooldown: 1 [break][break] Etherious is pumped into Samuel’s eyes channel life and death magic together in balance. The life portion supports his eyesight and makes things more pronounced. The death magic allows him to see the flow of life and magic around him. Spells and auras that he normally would not notice becomes noticeable. When the spell is used his eyes have a strange glow to them. [attr="class","nodensheader"]SORCERY : Blossoming Heal + [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 2 [break] Cooldown: 4 [break][break] A more in depth version of Samuels healing spell it creates up to four lotus flowers, that heals any ally that is touching it at the moment. The flowers may not be big but the healing potency is stronger than his basic spell. The flower constructs are rooted to the place they are casted to but heals a radius of 13ft (4 meters) each. This spell can reattach lost limbs, heal external wounds, including fractured bones and deeper burns, disregarding of severity, and minor damage to internal organs; but more severe damage will take more time to heal. Like his other healing spells life returns to local flora and fauna in the area of the spell as well. People caught in the spell will feel like they have rested for five hours. [attr="class","nodensheader"]SORCERY : Devouring Chains - [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 3 [break] Cooldown: 4[break][break] Sam forms a pair of seal with his hands and two pairs dark chains shoot from the air. The chains are dangerous to touch as they destroy etherious that comes into contact with it by eating it, then moves on to decay and destroy. Metal will start rusting, organic material will start decaying. If force of life is being used the power is greatly reduced making it excellent for teaching students on how to deal with anti-magic. If force of death is active the power is largely boosted, a man would die in moments from touching the chain. [attr="class","nodensheader"]INCANTATION : Rebirth Spirit: Behemoth [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 4 [break] Cooldown: 6[break][break] Samuel says the word “Foe that has perished, return to me, let your spirit be free to walk and rampage. My enemies shall be your enemies, and my friends your friends. Let us overturn that which stands in my way.” The ending line of the spell is when a silver blob appears out of Sam’s hands, it grows rapidly till it looks like Sam has summoned a behemoth to battle. It is actually the same behemoth that Samuel has defeated before and has majority of the battle abilities it has had when it was alive. The only difference between this summon and an actual behemoth is that this one does not have the ability to heal itself in battle. [attr="class","nodensheader"]INCANTATION : Mystic Heal: Genesis World + [attr="class","nodensmagright"] [attr="class","nodensmagright2"] Duration: 3 [break] Cooldown: 8 [break][break] Samuel recites the words “Hope come from life, to live is to have hope, let all that hope and wish to live thrive, let those close to my heart soar, and may death be kept at bay”. A white energy springs forth from Samuels body. The energy takes the form of a radiant dome 22 meters around Sam, the dome heals all Samuel views as allies in his heart. As long as the target is not dead even critical injuries are easily recovered. The spell grants life back to nature as well, making plants flourish, the air cleaner, and water more pure. All living non hostiles will feel a sense of peace and security while the spell is in effect, washing away fatigue completely. |
