Aster took a quick glance from the window and whoever was talking to her. As much as she kept herself calm on the outside, on the inside she was just slightly annoyed. Her what hoped to be a solo break would turn into sharing it. Not that she minded having to converse, but just when she isn't trying to enjoy an iced latte by herself.

Her eyes slightly lit up in surprise when she realized who was before her. "My, my. The very same can be said to you too, Lady Alder. I'd be rude to say no on a smooth day in a cafe, so by all means." She greeted with a firm nod while giving a friendly smile.

She never knew the odds of meeting the matriarch of House Alder would slim down to meeting somewhere as casual as a simple cafe shop. Of course Aster had her own dirty secrets locked up, but she always wondered about the secrets the matriarch had. She may have a good image as deemed by the majority of the public, but not everyone, including Aster herself, were so perfect and flawless.

It's be unprofessional of her to try and pry into personal matters, however this was personal time, so no harm in curiosity getting in the way. "I would assume this day been treating you well so far? Attending to usual political matters?" She asked.

With a towel wrapped around her head and a bathrobe covering the rest of her body, Aster stepped out of the bathroom with a relieved sigh. A shower was exactly what she needed after a long week of attending to political affairs and campaigns. She'll always get used to the power in her hands, but if only some of the responsibilities weren't so troublesome. A woman could only wish such a thing would exist.

Pulling off the towel from her head, she threw the towel on the bed along with herself. Lying on her back, Aster only stared at the ceiling for a few moments before she began to doze off. Next to a nice hot shower, a nap was also what she needed. Just a full hour of napping could be what it all takes for her to get back on her feet.

She'd be damned if her nap does get interrupted, but until then, she's more than welcome to getting that much needed nap.

Aster took a small sip of her vanilla iced latte while she looked out the window of the moderately populated cafe. She sat near the entrance/exist of the building and the windows at that, too. Nothing was better than to take a break from the political world and for once try to blend in as a human being. Although, she had to follow the dress code and wore her light blue sash with the council's symbol stitched on it. Though, she still hoped there wouldn't be any intrusions into her break.

It wasn't so often she'd step out of her home other than to attend some political matters. As a matter of fact, she could've gotten one of her maids to fetch her some iced latte in the comforts of her own home in Era instead of coming here. Then again, she didn't mind taking in some fresh air compared to being cooped in her home as much as she could've.

It'd feel a little disappointing for her to take her leave once she finishes her drink, but alas, certain matters have to be addressed... or she could just stay here for a bit while she's still having a chance to breathe.

Aster made a satisfied nod while she sighed in content. "Ah, I'm glad. I was actually a little nervous if you were to say no, but it's a good thing that's not the case." She said. "Writing will make it official, but I needed a verbal confirmation first before anything else." She explained with another nod.

She leaned forward with both hands now resting on the table and folded together. "Well, there's nothing wrong with getting more recognition than with what you already have. After all, there's no such thing as having too much of anything if you know what you're doing." She explained with her smile widening a little. "Think about it. You'll grow more outside of Eos. Everywhere you go, even if it's outside of Eos, people will recognize you for your skills and prowess as a champion. Just think about it for a moment." She said.

"It may seem a little... useless when you first hear this. 'What's the point? I'm already famous as is.' However, this may get you into bigger deals, deals you wouldn't even imagine. And all under my management at that too, if you will." Aster made another nod, her smile only faltering just a bit.

"That said, I'll do everything in my power to make sure this endorsement will succeed and propel you into bigger deals and a much better future." She said. Leaning back, she reached for a black suitcase just behind her and rested it on her lap. It took her a few seconds to open it, bring out a pen and a stack of papers stapled together, and lay both items in front of the champion. "Right here," She paused for a moment to point at the dotted line before continuing. "is where you'll be signing. I do suggest you look it over if you're absolutely positive that you want to do this as an official agreement."

Aster rose an eyebrow while maintaining her small friendly smile as she was being addressed. "Well, well, well, and here I was, thinking you wouldn't have any sort of manners. Silly of me to judge a book by its cover, I suppose." She said with a chuckle, as if she were actually amused. However, it was nothing more than just a small josh at the champion.

The woman couldn't help but tilt her head in slight confusion, but still keeping her smile when the champion asked for her name. "I'm one of the three Arbiters that help keep this city from furthering itself into chaos, yet you don't know my name? I'm shocked." She dramatically gasped, placing a hand on her heart.

The small act was quickly thrown off with a simple giggle while shaking her head. "You may call me Aster, just for the sake of keeping the atmosphere more casual and comfortable on your end. Though, I wouldn't mind you keep calling me Your Excellency." She said.

"Now then, I'll just go straight to the point on why I wanted to talk to you. To keep it simple, I'm rather a big fan of the Grand Magic Games and I've been keeping an eye you for a while. I'm impressed by your skills and what you can do, therefore I've decided to make an offer: I'd like to endorse you; give your skills more exposure and recognition. Make you more well-known outside of Eos." She explained.

Aster folded both arms while she crossed one leg over the other in her seat. She wore her usual floral patterned kimono while wearing her sash with the council's emblem stitched onto it. As someone as classy looking like Aster, she'd of course set up a meeting in a restaurant this high classed, no less with the Sorcerer's League champion. She was a fan of the game and was more or less impressed with the champion's skillset.

In fact, she was more than impressed. It was just enough for Aster to personally contact the champion and make a simple deal: endorsement; more exposure to those that aren't familiar with the game but can use this as a gateway for the champion's skills to gain more exposure. Although Aster was a powerful being from her position, she had no trouble wanting to do something literally anyone else could do.

She surveyed the populated restaurant to see if the champion already entered. Soon enough, she spotted the figure not to far off. Aster rose a hand in the air and waved it in the air with a soft smile.

aster is an arbiter who paid, manipulated, and threatened her way behind the scenes to get where she's at now. however in the public's eye, she's a sweetheart. on the outside she seems sweet and extremely charming, but on the inside she's a greedy and vindictive woman who looks the other way from those who are in need. she comes from a wealthy family where they believed money is the answer to everything as long as you know what you're doing, so as expected aster followed in their footsteps. as an arbiter, she'll do whatever she could to maintain her position and make sure to upkeep her happy going image. COULD YOU BE DREAMING THAT WE'RE MEANT TO BE?aster, as far as the majority are concerned, is portrayed to be a goodhearted and motherly arbiter who can do no wrong and only wants what's best for eos. she's always welcoming and knows how to make people comfortable, even if they don't want her company. she has nurturing instincts to make sure everyone around her is okay, sound, and satisfied. aster would do everything in her power to ensure the safety of not only close friends and acquaintances, but also for citizens of eos. [break][break] due to her laid back nature, she has no problem socializing, befriending people, and carrying out conversations as long as she pleases. aster is also always willing to lend a hand and show support to those in need. she is also willing to make sacrifices for those she love and care for and would do whatever it takes to achieve other people's happiness. WON'T SAY I LOVE YOU - THAT'S CRAZY, YOU SEEaster would kill her enemies with kindness or just literally kill someone. she'd always act to be the bigger person, but deep down she'd want her enemies to feel shame, doing whatever she could to ruin them. she may not appear angry or hostile (doesn't necessarily take a lot to actually make her upset, but she's very good at keeping her cool before she snaps), but that doesn't mean she doesn't hold grudges. [break][break] she has no problem with trying to take out those that are a threat to her or the council, whether or not she has any actual power. it doesn't stop her from doing whatever she could to maintain her position. aster can be passive-aggressive, spiteful, and sharp with her tongue. overall, she knows how to keep her cool for the most part while trying to get on the other person's nerves. DON'T EVEN TRY TO UNDERSTAND MEfrankly speaking, aster isn't much of a fan of dating. the only thing that catches her heart is money. she's more than likely to just flirt/fool around, but aster personally believes she doesn't see herself in a relationship. it doesn't necessarily mean she isn't looking for a relationship, she just believes it would get in the way. if she does get into one, aster's ideal type is someone who can keep up with her antics and handle with what she does, including doing dirty work. Aster was a result of being raised in a wealthy family where people like to put money where their mouth is, literally. Money was the solution to everything, and where there was a lot of money meant there was a lot of connections used to further pursue their agenda. Her mother and father were both successful business people, so it was expected that Aster should also lead a successful business. It meant getting extremely strategic and playing her cards right to get what she wants if she wanted to bring more fortune.

But Aster had goals dreams set in front of her: politics. She wanted to become an Arbiter for the sake of expanding her family's name. It was all about the wealth, fame, and power. Even if she weren't to actually have power, just the idea of appearing to have power and abuse it for her own cause was enough to increase her drive. She dove into the world of politics at a young age, much to her parents extreme support of her goal. Understanding the history and the politics of Eos, she researched and practiced as much as she could for years before she could advance.

It took a lot of years of preparation and practice for Aster to launch her campaign. From speeches to donations to centers that aid those in need, she did everything to win the hearts of the public. She made speeches of things that had certain topics of what people wanted to hear and how the majority believed such matters handled. Aster knew how to appeal to the crowd, which gave her a large boost in popularity and vastly improving her goodhearted image. A lot of people were already in favor of her, which was just one of the more "minor" things, she'd call it, she worried about.

The real work was behind the scenes. With the help and influence of her parents and their wealth, they all began to create connections within the political world. Bribery to drastic options such as threatening their status or even their lives, the Villin family did everything they could to sway the majority vote with the help of other politicians. Endorsements, affiliations, it was all benefiting her image and creating a larger influence for the vote to sway in her favor.

Before she knew it, and as expected, Aster became an Arbiter. Many have cheered for her success while others doubted that she had a clean race. There were even rumors about her buying her way into the position and bribing other politicians to create a bias of favoring her. Whether or not the rumors were true to the general public, what mattered the most was Aster securing her position.

Aster continued to uphold her charming and motherly image in both private and public spaces. Even if she doesn't have much power than she'd expect, it didn't mean she couldn't use her connections and have other methods of creating intimidation. She's already blinded by her own greed for fortune and drunk with gaining domination around her ever since she became an Arbiter.

She has sworn to do whatever she could to maintain her position, even if it meant getting her own hands dirty.
