The lack of responsibility behind the massive power that the man has is making Yvel click her tongue in distaste. There is no doubt within her mind that he might be something more than meets the eyes, the glimpse of his face raise a question within her mind from the distance. Is it what she think it is? A mythical creature from the children stories, the topic that she loves talking about in her past time alone where sometimes pulling either one of her child to listen. An artificial human or can be categorized as Homunculus, that thing pull her interest more and more. Suddenly, a wave of blue magic create a huge crater not too far from her. A blast that is too fast to get intercepted fully by herself. All she can do to erect a blood wall to save herself from the blast.
A lot of civilian got trapped under the debris, sustaining many kind of injuries. Decision has to be made right now and it is within her favor for there are a lot of blood scatters on the ground for her to control. She raise her arm as a conductor baton and on several spot a scarlet pillar sprung shoving away the debris that is crushing all of the civilian in a single sweep. She will let the woman in red that she assumes as someone from the council to handle the homunculus for now. Yvel exerts her magic to save people from the debris for now. She calculated the trajectory of the debris to not make it crush other villains, with a small calculation she can save everyone in a flash.
"You two, make sure everyone is safe and take those two child at the corner. The pillar won't hold much longer before it crash down again" Yvel instruct the white haired boy and the red haired boy to save two small children in the corner of the street. She actually can save them without any trouble, but this is for the sake of public show.
Chaos should not be added by another chaos, the vein on Yvel's head is bursting in anger when she sees some of the debris floating including some of the dead body and even living person. She takes out her blood orb and crush it to make it transform into a floating armor as she shout "vitae de arma". The scarlet pillar is now changing it shapes into an umbrella that protect the citizen on the ground from the possible crash.
"Arma, look around for the caster and knock them out" She orders the armor to find the caster as she focus on strengthening the umbrella with the blood that she receives from Arma's stroll/ |

Yvel Roschwels Alder, the one and only Matriarch of the house alder, walks out from an alleyway that has questionable nature. She pats her now dirty with a splash of vermilion color in at the small edge of her white dress, letting out a sigh after finishing her sole business in Altair ignoring the dried up corpse far from the crowd shrouded with the darkness of the alleyway. However, this is not her time to let out a sigh as a sudden stock for her magic fly toward her. The bloods that is flying toward her suddenly stop in the midair as if the time around it stop, the dirty red liquid swirls in front of the masked woman where her hand conduct the blood as if she is a conductor. Within a second all of the blood in the surrounding enter to the vial that she own to store it.
Ignoring the corpse, the sight that has been familiarize for her with her bloody past, she notices a peculiar thing who is trying to run. Yvel rubs her chin pondering over something. If this situation are made by him, popping someone body like a balloon, he would be a great addition to the Alder's strength. However, like every weapon in the existence, if that thing can hurt someone it can also hurt you. An amused look of Yvel is hidden by her mask, ignoring the risk of him to be a dangerous individual for now and try to look him up and maybe recruit him to Alder's force.
She has long notice by now that she is not the only one who has taken interest to the perpetrator of this, what other people may call as, tragedy. Yvel take notice to her five vial of blood that has been filled due to previous accident and the cruor de arma's orb in case if hell break loose. |

Dear Avalon vi Leomagne . Having an ambitious such as that is lovely. I believe that putting your goal as high as possible and aim it is the main reason for us, as a human, alive and different compared to the monster out there. Don't take me wrong, being a warden is a noble position. But i hope that you don't extinguish your fire to be an arbiter, with whatever it takes. Not stopping right under the top but become the top. This is just my personal advice after looking on how many young people talent has gone to waste. There are many aspiring young people from the main house Alder who are aiming to be a scholar or magician. They are adorable to see, frolicking here and there seeking for knowledge and training. Perhaps maybe, there is some of the young can fight on par with your subordinate, maybe we can plan a joint training between the council and the Alder. That would be interesting Sincerely, 𝖄𝖛𝖊𝖑 𝕽. Dear Avalon vi Leomagne . Oh do they? What a hurtful comment to give to a maiden such as me. It just a delirious talk of a cornered cat if it is anything. To listen to what a criminal has to say is not worth it, are we on the same page here miss Leomagne? As for my tea preference, i'd say I am currently fancy a good cup of jasmine tea. The taste is mellow and not to sweet is nice for my palate. I will bring a good jasmine tea brand when I make a visit. Me being a matriarch is not something i actively seeks it. It was some kind of destiny since i am a child to become the matriarch of the Alder, to be the head figure of a big family commanding many family member which i claim them as my own extended family. Even in the darkest time, family always help you come through. Is it also like that for you with your colleague? Or your own family? Interesting may be an understatement in this case Miss Leomagne, As part of the nobility such as myself, facing the deserter and assassin is a common occasion - To describe them with an umbrella term criminal is the right words. There may be an occasion where I will sent those criminal to you personally. It is a great reason for me to get a fresh air compares to getting locked up in my room handling the paperwork. A loud screech from a huge animal that she register as a griffon can be heard even when she tries to close her ears. The grass are brushed away as the one of the griffon flaps their wings, it as if followed by the flap of the wing three griffon that won't lose to the first one comes out from the bushes. Yvel scratching her chin judging their current situation, even for her facing four gryphon at one time proven to be difficulty for her. The beast has intelligence yet that intelligence that make everything more troublesome as it is. Yvel takes out red crytal from her bags then crushes it within her hand. Within a minute, red tendrils appear from the crystal and start consuming Yvel's body. When it is done, scarlet red metallic armor with black miasma seeping through from the gap can be seen. Her eyes sparkling beneath the helmet can't wait for blood to spill. "No matter how i want to test your strength, four is too much. You handle three of them while I hold one of them away from you"She raises her hand and the gauntlet of hers start changing it shapes into a scarlet chain laying her arm bare then fly to of the Gryphon, restricting their movement. Remember when she says that they are intelligent? They are not smart enough to avoid battle when one of the are render useless. If it wasn't for her adviser, she would most likely sent someone in her stead to collect three gryphon's feather - an item that rumored can enhance a contract type magic by using it as a writing tools. It is a great time for her to have a "family outing" with her own son while observing his growth. "So, Artemis. Let me use this occasion to give you a really belated congratulations for you to be the warden of the council. It is a shame that i am too late to this due to a personal matter. It is calming to know that there is an existence like you out there. The current world is crazy, there are many criminals roaming freely where are needed to be punished as hard as possible, even sometimes i think a prison sentence is too lenient for those kind of people. Apologize for the late response as of late, i have been quite busy managing the people of Alder.
I'd love to do that where Yvel and Avalon sent letters back to back to gauge the opposite ability. We can try test the water on where will this go, who knows where it will lead us to. A major plot perhaps? Lets leave that talk in the future.
So now we reach to the point where I must ask on which one of us should start the thread. Following the groundwork of the plan we made, i believe that there is no significance on who starts first. Unless, you have an idea on why this person must start the thread.

Thanks for the reply.
Her impression regarding the change most likely will be a pleasant surprise. It will give her a chance to gain more power to destroy the noble opposition.
As for whether the noble or criminal can put up a fight with Myria, I can't say for the criminal due to their strength is not important for Yvel for her human test subject. However, i can testimony on the strength and how much fight those said noble can put up a fight. Due to the power that she has amassed as the matriarch of the house of Alder there only a noble who has fair amount of strength that can oppose Yvel directly.
So, here is my idea. Since this is quite a noble it wouldn't be weird for him to have many competent guard. Therefore, Yvel want to strip those competent guard by killing them (That is where Myria jumps in). However, it will be tricky if the noble is calling for backup in the middle of killing spree, which force Yvel to distract him in a private area where Myria kill the guards and at the end both of them kill the noble. (This is what i call with kill the soldier first before the general).
What do you think regarding this, Myria of Blades

Dear Avalon Vi Leomagne.
This message will looks a bit funny if I (Bunny) write it as if Yvel is the one who write it. However, I'll bear all of the laughter behind the screen for the sake of immersion. I, as the Matriarch of Alder, has a proposition on how Avalon and Yvel can interact with each other.
One of shady business that under the strict supervision of Yvel is human trafficking. That business branches out to an abduction and human experiment. To avoid public suspicious, Yvel will choose people who has criminal record to be part of her human experiment. Therefore, she will hire some mercenaries or even grimm troupe with the pretext of 'breakout' to free the criminal under Avalon supervision.
Even with that, I believe that Avalon won't let them be free alive. Therefore will results a deficit for Yvel business which raise the need for her to investigate on what is happening. Perhaps, we can plan around where some mercenaries she hires try to 'free' the criminal while Yvel try to distract Avalon. Would that be suffice?
I'd imagine that they will have antagonist relationship in the future yet both of them doesn't have any kind of proof to act upon it which just make the relationship deeper. However, there will be a time where Yvel may land a help to Avalon if the situation calls for.

Thank you for your lovely message that shows sincerity to be part of this lovely lady of Alder.
Without further ado, lets discuss regarding the involvement between Yvel Roschwels Alder and Myria of Blades.
She does have many pseudo nobility or lower rank nobility who are trying to suck her up to get a better position in the world politic. There even the case where she are offered to marry a son from a small time noble, so they can be part of the top brass Alder family (Which she refuses and now those said family are gone from Eos without any track). However, that is not the only thing that other lowly small nobles has ever done to gain a favor from a strong family, such as House of Alder. So for the grand scheme of this matter, there is a possibilities that Myria and Yvel has met when she is offered to one of the top branch family of Alder. So yes, we can follow the first scenario you propose, we even can make this as the beginning of their acquaintanceship.
As for the shady business, i am intrigue on what kind of job that Myria won't have any problem to accept it. Is killing another noble to ensure Yvel's family position or kidnapping a criminal from a jail to be Yvel's test subject would be suffice for her? We can try to make up a job that may satisfy both parties in this case, but i need to know what kind of job that Myria will take willingly.

With time she got bored with the flattery which she knows is just an empty one from the guy in front of her. It is not the right time for her to take off her mask. However, she decides to just lift it up for formality reason.
"I do know about the campaign you're trying to pull. Or at least from the report I get, however, can a letter on a white paper can be fully trusted? I'd like to listen more on what you're trying to achieve with this campaign you're taking"
With a calm tone, she asks for the detail from the source itself. She already read a ton of report of the campaign he is taking but can't help to think something off with it.
"Enough with the flattery, the one who should ask is me. What do you want from the house of Alder? If you still keep twisting words, I will leave this place"
Yvel rests her right hand on her cheeks while observing the swirl of the red wine on her hand. Her gesture shows seriousness and bluntness to forcibly continue the conversation while trying to grasp the pace of the conversation. |
