To the people that decides to stick around Avalon find out that she isn’t as terrifying or malicious as the rumors say. Instead, she’s an amicable individual, listening intently to what her friends need to say while trying to reply in her own way. Quirky and not adhering to the status quo, Avalon can be a breath of fresh air or a weird attachment to one’s life. Nevertheless, she appears to be a genuine individual that just so happens to run a prison and takes her job very seriously. She’s hard to schedule around, which encourages people to come visit her. The more time that Avalon spends with you outside of the prison or any Council sanctioned environment can serve as a gauge of how much she cares about you. If a friend is threatened, she assumes the worst and seeks absolute vengeance. If a friend needs her, Avalon will move the world in her distinct way to make it better.

Enemies are something that Avalon doesn’t like to have, in the sense that she would prefer to kill them before they can linger. When Avalon marks someone as her enemy, she stops at nothing to see them writhing in pain. If there’s a person that Avalon treats worse than the criminals that she has governance over, it is those who scorn her. Ideally, the person who would receive Avalon’s wrath the most, it would be a prisoner who dared to challenge her authority and antagonize her enough to labeled as her sworn enemy.

Well, considering Myria is part of the Grimm Troupe, even if it isn't common knowledge, Avalon's probably at odds with her already. She might not know her personally, but maybe they've actually met before already? Myria busting out some fellow Troupe members from jail... or if that's too difficult an undertaking, maybe freeing them before they get delivered to the prison. I'm not sure if they could meet in a different venue since Avalon seems married to her job? XD |

I'm fine with Myria aiding in breakouts prior to Avalon becoming the Warden. It gives them a kind of history there. Perhaps Myria hasn't dealt with breaking people out recently? I'm definitely cool with her getting people out before they reach the prison. Conversely, Avalon has probably slain her fair share of prisoners just out of underlying spite for Myria's efforts. |

Yeah, she probably hasn't aided in breaking people out recently, considering she's now the leader of the Troupe in Rosa, but she could've, indeed, aided in breakouts against Avalon's predecessor. How long ago has it been since Avalon been the Warden? Let's get our timelines straight. Myria's been the leader for Rosa for 5 years. Either way, Myria might have, and might still be, participating in intercepting vehicles that carry Troupe prisoners, since it's easier to get them out from there than the super secure Trench. While Myria is probably disguised during these raids, she might've seen Avalon before, and would probably know that she's the pesky Warden XD
So I guess I'm going to pattern her reaction to Avalon in the thread as 'Oh, it's the Warden' but she's probably going to pretend to not know her. Might be funny if they became friends in Myria's public guise. |

Avalon has been the Warden for, say, two years now? So she probably had to deal with Myria throughout her "younger" days.
I can go with the idea that in the open thread, they both have a general understanding of one another. I especially love the concept of them knowing each other and even being friends, which adds a layer of complexity. Maybe the whole "we're friends, but we may have to kill one another one-day" schtick when it all comes to light that they do know each other.

So Avalon became the warden two years ago and Styliani became an Arbiter two years ago, therefore I think these two could've met around the time they've started. I mean they're both in the council, so they'd eventually meet anyway regardless.

With Avalon not minding being manipulated by the council just gives Styliani all the advantages to try and use her for her own agenda. I don't think Avalon would be a huge fan in aiding Styliani to bring anarchy, but I can see her just aiding her for other things or be subtle with what she wants that leads to anarchy (but I could be very wrong). I'm not too sure if Avalon would actually look up to Styliani enough behind her childish and playful persona to do whatever she says, but I'm sure Styliani's fun loving image and free hugs could persuade her otherwise. She'd admire her devotion for her work for sure, though.

I'd also see Styliani just making random trips to prison to check up on Avalon, maybe have a few rounds of messing up a prisoner or two. Maybe Avalon joins in for the hell of it, or maybe Styliani just forces her to join.

Dear Avalon Vi Leomagne.
This message will looks a bit funny if I (Bunny) write it as if Yvel is the one who write it. However, I'll bear all of the laughter behind the screen for the sake of immersion. I, as the Matriarch of Alder, has a proposition on how Avalon and Yvel can interact with each other.
One of shady business that under the strict supervision of Yvel is human trafficking. That business branches out to an abduction and human experiment. To avoid public suspicious, Yvel will choose people who has criminal record to be part of her human experiment. Therefore, she will hire some mercenaries or even grimm troupe with the pretext of 'breakout' to free the criminal under Avalon supervision.
Even with that, I believe that Avalon won't let them be free alive. Therefore will results a deficit for Yvel business which raise the need for her to investigate on what is happening. Perhaps, we can plan around where some mercenaries she hires try to 'free' the criminal while Yvel try to distract Avalon. Would that be suffice?
I'd imagine that they will have antagonist relationship in the future yet both of them doesn't have any kind of proof to act upon it which just make the relationship deeper. However, there will be a time where Yvel may land a help to Avalon if the situation calls for.

I'd imagine that their relationship would be more nurturing parent and loyal child than anything. The image of Styliani holding Avalon close in front of everyone and yelling "I birthed this one and she's mine" plays in my mind. Avalon's probably closer to Styliani than any of the other Arbiters or members of the Council since they moved into higher positions together, for the most part.
Avalon's not one for order or chaos. So Styliani's desire to bring forth anarchy wouldn't bother Avalon unless it was something that would hurt citizens' lives. And the fact that she chooses to grace the Trench with her presence would probably make Avalon want to be that much more obedient and helpful. Thus, her vision of what Styliani does might become skewed, due to conscious or unconscious favoritism.
I much enjoy the idea.
Styliani sounds like the best kind of bad influence that Avalon needs.

Oo, this has a lot to bite into. It's absolutely tantalizing.
It's hard to call what their relationship can be a game of chess, but more of "Guess Who?"
The first part is them trying to figure out what's going on and who is the one pulling the strings. The second part is them finding out. The third part is the intrigue of how they plan around one another and how exactly do they feel about each other. Sadly, bodies start to pile up. Questions start being asked, business starts to drop, and their game becomes more precarious by the moment.
What's even better is how you said that they cannot directly attack one another.
As such, I have an idea.
Just like how you sent this letter, how about they actually send letters to one another? The contents of them can progress over time, from mere taunting (or whatever) to possibly longer messages. We can follow the rhythm and see where it goes.
Thoughts on that?

Blind loyalty. Styliani can get behind that kind of loyalty. She'd be a little less unruly with Avalon since she believes she wouldn't try to pull anything suspicious on her/knows she wouldn't betray her.

I can see Styliani trying to get some secrets from Avalon about another Arbiter whose name will never be mentioned, with the assumption that they've talked and have some form of trust with each other, but I think that kind of stuff would happen another time. Styliani > Other Arbiter.

The only thing that I can think of right now for these two would be interrogating a prisoner for information Styliani needs and she dragged Avalon along to help? Maybe something happened within let's say the Watcher's Spire, petty or some serious stuff went down, a suspect is caught and is in the process of being forced on telling the whereabouts of the other people involved.

Apologize for the late response as of late, i have been quite busy managing the people of Alder.
I'd love to do that where Yvel and Avalon sent letters back to back to gauge the opposite ability. We can try test the water on where will this go, who knows where it will lead us to. A major plot perhaps? Lets leave that talk in the future.
