It was not in his best interest to instuct these warriors on how to fight against him. Ferr's tips, or rules, seemed to have been coming off as boasting and ignorance. Some members of the crowd either cheered or they booed the Captain. Either way you sliced it, the crowd was divided on what party to champion. This didn't bother Ferr however since he was used to people being against him in one aspect or another. He's been dealing with it all his life. The Minotaur-man smiled when he saw the trio forming an impromptu unit. It seemed if they wouldn't take the advice with a smile, they'd at least attempt to shove his words back into his face! His red eyes glanced over the cloth-wielder and were focused on the gray mutant. The spearman was getting close, but if he could dash past him, the mutant and the other fighter might have been caught off guard by his decision. Myria's sword, however, disrupted that plan. Flinching and throwing his arms up in defense, Ferr was not fast enough to completely stop the blade. Blood trickled down his face and arms as the bridge of his nose let lose light-pinkish blood. The cut was not deep too deep, but it dragged along his face, just below the right eye as well. The force and power behind the projectile were far more powerful than what Ferr expected. Being an attack he did not pay attention to only double its effectiveness. When Ferr's eyes became shut, and his arms raised in defense, the cloth-wielder took the chance. She lashed out, using her weapon to wrap around his torso and arms - pinning them to his chest. Calling out to the others, the mutant rushed Ferr, tackling his legs in order to bring the large man down to the ground. Once this behemoth was down, the spearman thought, he'd begin to strike at him with the spear until he relented. Not going according to plan. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

to report yet?" The booming, dire tone of a single Captain rang out as he stood in front of the Institute; a whole regiment both around him and already inspecting the damage lingering on the exterior of the structure which had housed the illegal research. As far as what Ferr knew, and most of his men, damage was the result of alchemical explosion. However others were saying it some perpitrator who had infultrated the Institute. The large minotaur-man began to walk through the debris and inspect the burn marks. His eyes were low with worry and weary. Whatever caused this damage most have been a good deal explosive. Ferr looked deeper into the institute. He say a clear path that had been crafted. It almost looked hastened and was made in a panic. A Knight came up to the Captain, a stern look on their face. "Sir Captain Aesir, we will need to go deeper into the building in order to figure out what happened." Sighing deeply, Ferr nodded and began moving into the Institute. "Kaz, Ghul, with me. Everyone else is to set up a perimeter. Don't allow anyone into the scene that isn't directly involved. If they have information, let them pass and take down-" The giant was interrupted by an eruption off in the distance. The second or was this the third? It was not very far; the same spot as earlier in the day. Most of the Knights gathered into a phalanx, looking to their Captain for orders. His bright, white teeth -sharp and carnivorous- were displayed in an animalistic form of aggression. His armored hand pointed towards the surge and Ferr roared out an order to advance. "Everyone, move out! Go! I believe another unit may already be there. Aid them, but only after securing civilians. Kaz, Ghul, on my six."With their orders, Ferr's unit of Knights rushed off, leaving him and his two soldiers. Kaz, the wild, young ace. Ghul, the strict by-the-book senior officer. Ghul, would raise their voice when they saw the Captain who was known to throw his life into any danger, not go towards the sound of trouble. "Sir, why not go yourself?" Ferr continued to walk into the institute, following the path of carnage and destruction within. "Whatever is causing that, most likely is what came from within. We need to figure out what that is." There wasn't so much as a pause when a locket was pulled out of Ferr's pocket. The silver necklace and bronze casing were mute without light shining off of them. The horned mutant opened the small keepsake, the image of his mother resting within it. "This is probably the worst day of the year. Not just because of this messing going on." His voice was mostly hushed as if he was speaking to the locket instead of his knights. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

was the word everyone gave to Zonia. They were always right; even those who never came to this place called it harsh. Called in uninhabitable. They were right if course. The wind and snow could break skin and freeze a lesser being to the bone, many people were known to have died of frostbite while standing. Causing them to become frozen statues of explorers, adventurers, or settlers. One bad hour out in the elements and you will never have been found again. It was the perfect chance for Ferr to put his tough hide to the test. At least that is what the Council thought! The minotaur-man, geared up and trekking through the knee-high snow kept an eye out for the mission area. The captain had been sent out to retrieve a prototype, man-made crystal. It had been tested to enhance the output of ethernano originating from offensive Hexes and Sorceries. However, a member of the Grimm Troupe stole it. Infiltrating the testing site disguised as a researcher. Their plan went off without notice until the real research team went to continue tests. The decoy crystal blowing up instantly. Only through several other investigations did the Council find out that this sector of Grimm Troupe utilized an abandoned outpost for a hideout. It was doubled as the site for their own testing for the crystal, being dubbed "Power Stone". It was a good plan. The majority of the Council was against going after the sect of criminals, but Ferr volunteered for the mission. He had a tougher skin than most people and was invested in the improvement of the Council's technology. This was not a lie but not the whole truth either. The mutant Captain had a personal grudge against GT. If anyone was going to do this, it would be him. Even though the wind was howling and biting at his body, through the extra layers of clothing, Ferr kept going. His hot-blooded determination keeping him warm all the way to the target location. After a few hours of walking alone, the large man spotted the snow-covered building. Constructed out of old brick and mortar, fortified by the ice which threatened to make it a tomb. A disabled and out-of-work spotlight tower was crafted into a make-shift watchtower. Within the nest, a pair of figures could be seen huddling for warmth. “Hmm. You see that?” One of the figures said heavy crossbow knocked and ready to fire. “It looks like a yeti.” “Yetis don’t exist. It must be someone from Eos checking up on our progress.” The second figure hissed as they checked through a spyglass. Peering through the lens, they had a hard time keeping up with the now charging Ferr. “Ugh, I don’t think that is someone we know. Too big. Take a shot.”The first guard lifted his large weapon and began to lead the bolt intended to pierce Ferr. His adjusted for the wind and speed the Captain was charging it. Upon firing, the two waited to see the stranger downed by the first shot. Instead, a blinding lightning bolt struck the crossbow bolt, burning it and knocking it out of the air. “Shit, fire another!”
The knitted hat now burning and scorched, Ferr roared as he made it to the structure before another bolt could be fired. Snow sticking to his skin, the large man jumped up and grabbed the ice-covered ledge. On this first attempt, Ferr slipped and fell. Almost landing on his behind, the Captain managed to fix himself before crashing down. As the two guards came out to fire a volley of bolts, Ferr fired a handful of lightning bolts from his horns. The crossfire ended with two bolts piercing Ferr’s body, but two guards down as well. Opening the door to the heated interior, it was obvious the only way to continue was down into the earth. The majority of the outpost seemed to have been located below in order to utilize the earth’s natural heat. Before stepping in, Ferr looked to the criminals now laying in the snow. If he left them there, they would surely perish from the cold. As a Captain, he could not let them just die…But did they deserve his mercy? With the wind picking up, Ferr rushed into the building. His decision was final. “Damn punks.” He muttered while pulling out the bolts from his body. Sitting beside the door, Ferr began to take off his coat and inspect the wounds. “I need to rest before continuing.” ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Avalon vi Leomagne Took me a while to imagine. (LOL I am a horrible person.) But I can see something like this happening. At least if this is still how she is acting and her position in the current state of affairs. Ferr will definitely view her actions as strange. Maybe even extreme if they are in the name of Justice. However, if she can justify it, maybe claim that she does it for the sake of reforming criminals, he would look the other way for the time being. He wants to trust the other Captains, especially one that he has formed a bond with. A bond of rivalry and pursuit of excellence! Behemoth If it came to Grimm Troupe, Ferr would try his absolute HARDEST to not kill. He is trying to be a symbol and beacon of justice and law. But he is still a man. Depending on how the fight went, and if words were exchanged, he might kill them in the heat of the fighting. But feel guilty about it later. But on a lighter note, I feel like weekly hangouts would def be a thing. Or if not weekly, whenever the hell a Captain and Knight can get the same time off. Lol.

Ferr nodded, thankful for Rhyme's help. It was an interesting ability to have. A good one for this situation! The large man began to bank left, his strides being long, Ferr had to cling to the side of the building as he corrected his tragectory. If not, he would have blown right past the turn. He looked on as the theif began to knock over barrels and any other loose items, trying to keep the two prosuers off his trail. This new alley was sadly filled with enough liter to do the job. "Damn it. I will use the full might of the law you villian!" Ferr noted the theif was shifting their body around, almost trying to decide which direction to go in to try and throw them off. It was throwing Ferr's aim off, however the excess movement was allowing Rhyme and himself to gain some ground. His sonar-like ability picked up a parallel pathway behind the small buildings next to them. Ferr was no one to praise causing collateral damage, but if he could pay to get the walls repaired later, he will. Taking in a deep breath, the horned man looked at Rhyme. "Don't do this ever." With that, Ferr hastened his pace, putting more power behind his stride and less speed. Breaking right, the minotaur-man broke through the wooden alleyway wall, rushed through a humble home, " Sorry!", and picked up the pace. Now parallel to Rhyme and the thief. The thief was surprised and took a quick pause when they turned to notice Ferr had crashed through the wall. This allowed Ferr to close the distance by a fair amount on the other side of the wall. The thief took notice of Rhyme, however, and decided to try and distract him. Shifting the crates he had stolen, he slid one into an open hand before chucking the cargo to the pursuer. in a deep breath as he prepared, Ferr stood there in the light, smiling as his black and red eyes moved back and forth between the two rookies who rushed him. Had these two planned out their attack and maybe coordinated, then it would have made Ferr think. The Captain would have to think if they did a good job on the first assult. Cracking his knuckles and getting into a prepartory stance, like he was ready to be tackled, Ferr took the pot shots well enough before allowing the artificer to slam into his body. The impact was softened by Ferr's hands grabbing hold of the flaming fist. In a single follow through, the Captain lean back with the punch to the suprise of the assualant. "Rule one!" The horned behemoth shouted. Pulling the man in closer, Ferr lifted his knee with harsh force; colliding it with the fighter's diaphragm. The glowing fist flickered as the artificer's body went limp from the pain. Ferr would then left them up, and slam them into the ground. Not simply throwing them, but ensuring he applied his monstrous force onto the body until it hit the ground. All the while his body and armor were taking hits from bolts of energy. Ferr's attention would not be so simple to divide. "Rule one, present a united front!" As the fighter with the umbrella hid behind their weapon, Ferr picked up the weak body he had just previously planted into the ground. The officer used their body as a shield until he was within fifteen feet. Within that fifteen foot range, Ferr through the body at the umbrella user. He partially swatted the umbrella away with the first hit but grabbed it with his hand and yanked it away. Not before the umbrella user could unleash a wave of light energy, leaving some bruises on the minotaur's hands. "That's a good start." He said, a wild shine in his battle-ready eyes. His horns produced a quick hum before firing off a bolt of lightning at the umbrella-using fighter. The stun was fast acting and weak. Yet it gave Ferr a chance to use a Haymaker on their face. This attack was a more effective, painful way to stun the target. Looking towards the several veterans, expectations were high for them. Especially the one who was pleasing the crowds. "Let that be a lesson to the rest of you. A united front is a key to tactics in the Knights. We pride ourselves on it. Now come forth!" ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Ferr AesirBehemoth sets a pretty low bar as far as public opinion is concerned so it wouldn't have been hard for Ferr to best her in that regard. She wouldn't have said anything about that, though; not unless he brought it up first. It's just her way of doing things, no hard feelings towards Ferr if others like him more. He would have been about 16 or 17 when she first started as a Knight. Very possible she knew him as a teen, and may have had to subdue him if he was rampaging about. Cue the awkward meeting of escorting him home to Feyie late at night. I don't think she would have been too rough with him back then? She has beast blood so she had similar phases growing up. If anything she would have tried to reach him before any other Knights did. Would put a nice empathetic touch on things for the both of them, I think. Especially with how far they've both traveled down their own paths after ten years. Good idea. A plot for a later time, then.
I love the idea of Behemoth just bodying Ferr into the ground one afternoon cuz he was losing his cool. Def would make things weird for him back home. Feyie probably apologizing so much because Ferr was bothering Behemoth and the other Knights. But he was weak then smoother. And now he is strong and fluffier. It's been close to a decade and Ferr is now in a higher position than Behemoth. I could see him trying to use (not) so subtle suggestion to persuade her into getting her act together and aiming for a Captain chair in the future. Probably leading her to chew him out in some regard or other.
Maybe once in a while, he invites her to lunch and recalls the days they were equals. They converse over that they feel are important issues; which in the end are totally different things.
Not sure how Behemoth would view this, but Ferr probably was into her during his early days as a Knight. I could see him asking her out years ago and she rejected him on the spot. I say this not to build towards a romantic relationship. But to add to their past. IDK.
What do you think? Other ideas?

echoed from the crowd and reverberated throughout the enterty of the Collosseum. The stone and metal had a slight shake to them; so faint you had to look for it in order to notice it. It was like this any time the main event of the night was going on. Sounds of magic and metal clashing and of bodies slamming into eachother. Ferr smiled lightly in anticipation for the fight to be over. The vision of himself coming out of a tunnel and disturbing the match - acting like a heel - was entertaining. His large frame and dark appearance would make for a great S.L. Games villain. This was not wrestling, however. And doing that could lead to some serious backlash leading to the Knights. Instead, the bull-man stood near the mouth of the tunnel leading out towards the battle-floor. For several minutes the fighting was relentless, but he remained silent. Watching the fighters slug it out with magic, familiars, and arcane weapons. At a point, the match concluded with a winner announced. Along with the applause from Ferr, the crowd resorted to their default actions of screaming and shouting. Clapping and roaring. It was always like this when the man came by. Approaching the center of the arena, Ferr stood beside an announcer. As the combatants returned to the lockers, Ferr waved towards the many people in the stadium. His Captian armor shinning beneath the bright lacrima-powered lights. "Ladies and gentlemen! That was a splendid battle! I am proud to see such fine men and woman possessing these great talents. We Captains and Knights still have a lot to learn when it comes to flare. These Sorcerers displayed an amazing match. But now, it is time for a special event." At these words, the crowd began to rev back up. People who were preparing to leave after the main event sat back down with renewed anticipation. "Yes! I, Captain Ferr Aesir, asked for several combatants to face off against me. However. It seems only a handful have taken up the challenge tonight. Please, give them a round of applause! And welcome them onto the field, finally." His large hand extended outwards towards the opposite side of the Colosseum as his opponents were exiting. They were a mixed bag of rookies looking to get their feet wet in any event they could get. There was another combatant who was not an ordinary rookie... ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Ferr Aesir Need a hand, Cap? Behemoth's been a Knight for close to ten years now, so she's probably seen Ferr around one way or another. Depending on when his mother died, Behemoth might have even worked with Feyie briefly? She would have at least heard of her reputation and kept a curious eye on Ferr because of that. Behemoth certainly wouldn't be one to stare at Ferr for his appearance and might be one of his peers who he could rely on early in his career. I get the feeling that if both of them are on the same job people would be leery of collateral damage, but what's life without excitement? Might be interesting to see how he'd react to her taking bribes, too. Perhaps he could be someone who helps keep Behemoth honest, and her perspective optimistic? Or we could even play that revelation out in a thread later if you'd like. Despite their differing views, I believe they'd get along well enough.
I like that idea alot. It would be a good idea to have a senior Knight who also was a mutant that Ferr could come to every once in a while. To talk or for advice. Over the years that they worked as fellow Knights, her cold approach to service might have affected Ferr's own resolve. Wanting to be better than Behemoth; in the eyes of the people anyway.
I think the idea of Behemoth having been partners with Feyie at one point could cause the relationship to have been born sooner. If that is the case, she might have seen Ferr when he was a young teenager, before he started going through training.
But I don't know how far back Behemoth would go. And yes, these two on a job would most likely result in structural damage.
I feel the truth of her taking bribes should come in a later thread down the line. I feel the more emotional and professional bond that grows between them, the bigger that plot point will be once we cross it.

I def think we should try the SL game idea first. It sounds fun and honestly would probably be a better way to build out the groundwork for their relationship and connection going forward. Plus it involves less violence. Since there is already a thread which may lead to violence in the near future. Do you have an idea as to how the SL games should go? I am not sure if there is an actual description of them or if they are a free-balling sort of setting to use for threads.

defeated and a bandit on the run. It seemed like a typical low-level theft. In the books Ferr would not right down anything of note for this event...Except that mysteirous theif ran with ease while carrying three of those crates! Good Stars did he have to be strong. Spicing up the crime even more was what appeared to be a young man giving chase. The stranger called out to Ferr, warning him of the thief's escape. "Wait!" Ferr called out, but by the time Ferr got the words out, the good Samaritan was already running away. The bull-man looked to the merchants and crew before bowing his head. "You have my word, I'll get your things back." Ferr looked back to the two running men and began to join them with a trot. Clattering and slamming boots bent the wooden planks beneath his frame. His speed and running power caused Ferr to quickly gain grown. His running form was somewhere between an athlete and an animal. "Stand down now or face maximum penalty!" As the trio ran, two after the one, Ferr began to hum rhymeiclly; in tandem with his running and breathing. Doing so, he began to develope a sense for the surrounding area. Shortly after, he began to catch up to the other mutant. Ferr became curious when the stranger did not register on his mental map. Is this person a projection? Or are they...? Ferr was curious about the individual, and wanted to investigate him. Maybe after this. The Man-bull warned his impromptu partner as they became neck and neck in their chase. "You do this city a good service. But don't do anything too reckless. That's your only warning. That being said, as Knight Captain I authorize you to use minimal force while aiding in the capture of this suspect." ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

I see! I am sure that we could figure something out. Ferr I don't think is that hard to trick at first. But let's see...
We could have it where he spends a free day either playing at or is watching a SL Game, that should be fun. He could probably go and try to recruit Myria if she is impressive to the Captain. We are always looking for more men and women to join the Knights! Lol. Anyway. If we wanted to have a raid go on, an experimental magic engine or tech could be being shipped through his district. It would be a good time to pull a heist or something like that. Epic combat and clashing ending with a disguised Myria and raging Ferr coming to a draw.
But also, Ferr just hangs out with the locals. I don't know if community events are a thing but Ferr would def go to them to meet new people. What do you think friend?

was a valuable treat to the Knight Captains who worked day in and day out of the office and the routes. Many times the Knights could find that the Captains slept in their offices, and not their barracks. Why was this? It was dedication. That is why Ferr chooses not to spend his days off in his district. The man needs a break once in a while from being the good guy. It pays off to blend in with the population and see things going on and moving along without your titles lingering overhead. He even wore civilian-like clothing. "Civilian-like" because he still looked like a warrior. A kilt and knee-high boots of marone color with silver trims. Topped with a tabard of white and yellow with a sun hovering over the number "42". The minatour-like man stood on the docks and watched the waves pass by. The strong nanoether in air had fully charged his horns this morning. The two iron-like extremadies were glowing crimson but radiated no heat. They were just filled with magic, ready to blow off at any moment. "This might be a good spot." Ferr suggested to himself. The area was not crowded, and there was just a bit of overcast coming over the horizon. But that is when Ferr heard the cries for help. With a deep sigh, he ran towards the commostion with such speed, that not even a charging bull could match. "What is wrong?! Knight Captain Ferr! No body move!" The man shouted loud, almost as if his voice ran from a horn blown by an even larger man. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

The noble girl found Ferr to be handsome? This caused Ferr to blush even though it was not visible under his dark cheeks and mane-like hair. The giant of a man couldn't help but smile lightly as the words of encouragement and positivity stramed forth like a sun's light. Brighid was quickly becoming one of Ferr's favorites and they had met not even a half hour ago. She was respecting his thoughts and opinions. Talking to her was a lot like talking to a good friend. Even if they just met. It even was a disappointment when Brighid made it urgent she had to leave. With a sigh Ferr nodded to the sky. "I suppose I lost track of time. Please forgive me if I made you late!" He was slightly fearful that by talking with the woman, she would be late and be reprimanded. "Please, please. If you are in a rush don't let me stop you. But if we can, I would love to talk to you again. I will be on duty until two days from now. I'd be happy to spend that time with you. Perhaps the Queen's Garden? They are lovely this time of year."
